Congratulations to our NBC and NBC-Affiliated C.R.A.S.H.-B Rowers: February 24 was a very special day for these 18 folks for this World Indoor Rowing Championship. Most notable among the wheel-spinners were Dan Potter, John Ryan, Dave Mercante, Rob English, and Erich Schultze who produced their best times at this event. Also, to Joan Richards who placed 5th in her age group; Frank Kahr who blew away his personal best by over 10 seconds; Kim Worrell who was so upset that she did not break 8:00, but then later realized that she still did her best ever; Alice Murray who set a Bay View Crew record; and our Brown Women's Crew NBC'ers (Libby, Corliss, and Lisa) who did an outstanding job as well.
