Awards: NBC 1st place medals will be awarded to the winner of all events.
Entries: Membership in the USRA is not required. Competitors may enter more than one event provided they can launch 30 minutes before each race entered. Phone or fax entries will not be accepted. Scratches will not receive refunds.
Classifications:
- Masters: 21 and over (21-26 in category AA as per US Rowing Rules)
- Juniors: a competitor who in the current calendar year does not attain the age of 19, or who is and has been continuously enrolled in secondary school as a full time student seeking a diploma. A competitor thus ceases to be a Junior after December 31 of the year of his or her 18th birthday, or of the year in which he or she completes the 12th grade of secondary school, having been a full time student, whichever is later. Within the Junior classification, there shall be a subclassification known as “Junior B” made up of those Juniors who in the current calendar year do not attain the age of 17.
- Novice: has never rowed prior to the 365 days preceding the date of the regatta.
If you have more than one entry in team race and would like to designate your boats as A, B, C, etc., please let us know so that we can organize the events appropriately.
Distances: 1000M for veterans, masters, and mixed races. 1500M for Juniors and novices. 2000M for all others.
