NBC's Men's Quadruple Sculls Entry Places 4th In Youth Nationals Repechage June 14, 2014

Sacramento, CA/June 14: Isaac Mocarski and Jon Dow were two returning scullers from last year's National Champion Men's Youth Quad. Coach Peter Wilhelm combined them with Jack Luby and Artym Hayda to make this year's edition a challenger among many strong entries. But a medical issue prevented Isaac from making the trip. Fortunately, Toby Satterthwaite who had been training with the group all spring was able to make the trip so that they could race.

Peter's new lineup was Jon Dow-Stroke, Jack Luby-3, Toby Satterthwaite-2, and Artym Hayda-Bow. Their first race together was in the preliminary heat in which they placed 6th of seven boats. Peter was looking forward to them doing much better in the repechage. The boys did their best, but their 4th place finish was not good enough to make it to the finals.
