The Docks are back and Firmly Installed March 27, 2011

Providence: Thanks to a bevy of enthusiastic NBC members who turned out at 9:00 on a Sunday morning, the docks are back in their usual location at the boathouse. The motorboats are also neatly berthed in their appropriate slots. The highlight of the morning was the unbridled joy to team dock pulling as these hardy types began to gleefully haul in their ropes and scatter as the docks came cascading toward the waters of the Seekonk. In some sense it was the NBC's version of the running of bulls that takes place in Pompaloma, Spain. If you missed it, too bad. You had to be there to appreciate it. We definitely appreciate the last results, since now we can much more easily launch our shells.
